He believes it is the relay that I mentioned in my original post. He said that a valve issue was not a concern with the results of that test being good. He gave me a test number, but I don't remember what that is.

The mechanic told me that he did a compression test and it was very good. I see only a few outdated, foreign ebay ads and nothing else online.Īny help would be greatly appreciated. I'm stuck as to where can I get this replacement part or one that can be swapped out in place of this specific brand. He now believes that it could be the ignition relay which has part #294859, FYM, F704-12, 080101, Made in Italy stamped on it. He changed out the stator, cdi unit, carb, and I had replaced the fuel pump and filter. He said that he doesn't see any Schwinn scooters come through his shop so he has to do some more detective work on this model to see what is going on. He is to a point where he has spark, fuel, and compression, but it still won't start. I currently have a mechanic working on it at a scooter dealership here in Central Fl, but he is having problems with it also. Then one day after riding about 30 miles it stalled and I can't get it running. We rode it without any problems for 600 miles over the course of several months.

My wife and I bought a used 2009 Schwinn Valo150 scooter on Craigslist with only 1100 miles on it. I'm new here and hope someone can help out with a scooter problem.
